From outstanding High School Achievement (Athlete of the Year, National Honor Society) to her education at the University of Southern California (attending classes while employed full time as the Administrative Assistant for the Institute of Hydrocarbon Chemistry working for Nobel Prize Winning Scientists), Barb has consistently proven herself as a leader.
In Washington State in 1978, Barb received her Employing Broker License and worked in new home sales, condo conversions and residential real estate - and built her first home from a kit! She moved to Denver in late 1981 and has been an Employing Broker in Denver ever since, having owned her own Real Estate and Construction firms, as well as working for Coldwell Banker, LIV Sotheby's International Realty and three Re/Max franchises, including Re/Max Alliance, where she was awarded the prestigious Hall of Fame Award. She is a member of the Master's Club - an award for Sales, Service and Education.
Barb is the recipient of the 5280 Magazine's "Professional Realtor" award for multiple years, which is voted on by her clients. She has won numerous sales achievement awards including "Sterling" level at Coldwell Banker. Barb has led teams at RE/MAX, been President of a number of organizations, and is widely known and respected through-out the metro-Denver real estate and home building communities.
In her spare time, Barb loves to travel (all 50 States and 3 continents so far), read, swim, make jewelry, and fish - preferably in her beloved Colorado mountains.
